Can anyone run for City Council? Yes. However you must live in the ward in which you are filing for.

When is the next city election? The next election for city council is the runoff in the primary in May of 2008 and the General election in November of 2008

How often does the city council meet? The first and third Tuesday of every month at 5:30 p.m.

Can anyone attend the city council meetings? Except in rare instances when there is a closed door session, yes, the general public may attend city council meetings anytime.
