Wayne Recreation Department

 

 

Welcome to the Wayne Recreation and Leisure Department website. Inside you will find information regarding Recreation activities, facilities, personnel, contact list, seasonal schedules, and team updates.

 

 

Mission Statement

The Recreation and Leisure Department seeks to promote the well-rounded development of all boys, girls, men, and women, and to meet the needs and desires of all individuals it serves. By emphasizing educational, as well as entertainment values of recreation, the varied activities of the different programs conducted by the Recreation and Leisure Department contribute to increased learning, better social adjustment, and needed relaxation for all participants.

 

 

 

 

 

Summer Registration for:

Park rec, Tennis, Golf, Baseball (ages 5-10), and softball (ages 5-9) along with all Swimming Pool Activities will be held at the Wayne Community Activity Center on:

 

            Friday - April 25th 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

            Saturday - April 26th, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

 

Contact Activity Center for more information at 375-4803.  Activity brochures are available at the Activity Center.  Registrations for Ages 11-18 Baseball and 10-18 Softball were held in February.
