EMERGENCY: If you think there is a fire or other emergency where you need the fire department, call 9-1-1.  In the event of a fire, get to a safe area, such as a neighbor’s house, and then dial 9-1-1. The dispatcher will provide you with immediate assistance and will send the appropriate personnel to help. The Wayne Fire Department does not charge for emergency service, so even if you think you need assistance, but you are not sure, call 9-1-1.

NON-EMERGENCY: If you want to contact the Wayne Fire Department for a non-emergency reason, you can call 402-375-1122 or you can email us at firedept@cityofwayne.org.
