At
the Wayne Wastewater Treatment Plant, we test for BOD (Bio-Chemical Oxygen
Demand), Total Suspended Solids, Nitrates as Ammonia, pH, and Dissolved
Oxygen. A certified lab, Environmental
Analysis South located in Jackson, MO, tests the wastewater for Copper,
Arsenic, Chromium, Nickel, Cadmium, Lead, and Zinc. Tests are also taken to measure the survivability of minnows
(Pimephales) and fleas (Ceriodaphnia) which will imitate the survival of
wildlife in our effluent in Logan Creek.
