the operations building are contained many of the vital plant components and
control centers. Equipment within the building includes blowers which provide
air for the first stage bio-discs and aerated sludge lagoon; sludge pumps to
transfer sludge to the lagoon system or tank wagon;
and a motor
control center which allows the operators to control the operation of various
lift station and plant equipment. The flow recording system as well as the
SCADA operating system with an automatic dialer which will phone any one of the
employees in the event of an alarm system in the event of an alarm condition.
The monitored conditions that may trigger an alarm include high water levels at
the lift stations and sludge-pumping pit and overload on the final clarifiers’
sludge collectors.
Also located
