Streets

 

Streets are the arteries and veins of any community.  They allow us to travel from our homes to the office or to school with the kids on a daily basis.  They allow us to visit friends or to go to the park when we want to relax.  Good streets should be cleared from snow in the winter and free of dirt and debris in the summer.  We realize this and do our best to make sure when you want to go you can get where you’re going.

 

Our employees perform various maintenance activities on the streets throughout the year.  These activities range from surface repair to snow removal.  They require the use of various equipment and manual labor.  When you come upon a work area please remember that these employees are not trying to delay you from your daily routine, but rather provide you with a network of quality streets upon which to drive.  Parking restrictions and speed limits are in place not only to provide for your safety, but theirs as well.  Feel free to browse this site to learn more about the activities and policies regarding Wayne’s streets and remember, please drive safely.
