WAYNE MUNICIPAL AIRPORT AUTHORITY

August 8, 2005

7:00 P.M.

 

The regular meeting of the Wayne Airport Authority of the City of Wayne was called to order by Chairman Mitchell Nissen at the airport on the above date and time.  The following members were present:  Logan McClelland, Dave Zach, & Mitchell Nissen.  Also attending the meeting was Nancy Braden and Clay Bode.

 

The minutes of the regular meeting of July 11th were presented it was moved by McClelland, 2nd by Zach that they are allowed.  Roll was called with the following results:  Yeas:  McClelland, Zach, & Nissen.  Nays:  None.  The Chairman declared the motion carried.

 

The claims were presented it was moved by Zach, 2nd by McClelland that they are allowed.  Roll was called with the following results:  Yeas:  McClelland, Zach, & Nissen.  Nays:  None.  The Chairman declared the motion carried.

 

For old business, the update on the appeal to FAA was discussed.  Braden stated that we have received verbal approval from FAA to purchase no build easements for the portions of land that need to be acquired and they should be hatched on the plans indicating that easements would be purchased.  Board requested Braden call Chris Connolly regarding procedure on the process.  The status of the fence was discussed.  Zach stated the fence was out and it was now up to the County to raise the road.  The status of the beacon repair was discussed and that it is now working.

 

Airport manager indicated that they had mowed around the NDB and ditches.

 

There being no further business it was moved by McClelland, 2nd by Zach that the meeting be adjourned.  All voting in the affirmative, the meeting was adjourned.
